Our Mission
We strive to champion the conservation, protection, and welfare of all New Zealand pinnipeds' with a core focus on the pakake/ NZ sea lion.
We are committed to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for these marine mammals by promoting education, sharing knowledge, and facilitating collaborative efforts among scientists.
Through the establishment of, and contribution to, scholarships and grants, we support individuals to undertake research related to pinnipeds.
Additionally, we aim to promote industry standards for tourism ventures that involve viewing pinnipeds, ensuring responsible and sustainable practices.
We are dedicated to carrying out any charitable objectives that advance the well-being of pinnipeds and contribute to the broader conservation efforts in New Zealand.
